This is how you take your measurements
Here are directions and information charts on sizes used in Germany, UK and USA. They let you know which sizes are equivalent to which as well as measurements of different parts of the body.To mark your waist place a tape-ribbon around your waist pin or tie it up together. Numbers in the diagram indicates what measurements your taking. Note: stand upright. DOWNLOAD: tabelle.pdf
(1) Bust measurements: here over the biggest part of the bust. For the back width measure horizontally from one side seam to the other back
(view diagram).
(2) Waist measurements: holding firmly around the tape-ribbon.
(3) Hip measurements: over the widest part of your bottom or thighs.
(4) Bust depth: from the shoulder near : neck to the tip of your bust.
(5) Front waist length: from shoulder near- neck, over the tip of the bust to the lower edge of thewaist (tape)
(6) Back length: from the first vertebra to lower edge of the waist (tape)
(7) Shoulder width: from the neck to the top of the arm
(8) Sleeve length: arm slightly bend,measure from the top of the arm, over elbow to the wrist.
(9) Upper arm measurement:around the widest part of the upper arm
(10) Neck measurement: around the widest part of the neck. Height: check the the heights iven in the tables
